The story takes place at Faber College in 1962. The basic story is about the conflict with Omega House and against Delta House. It is the worst fraternity on campus. Larry Kroger and Kent Dorfman are making college fraternities. Their first stop is Omega House. But Omega wants nothing to do with them. So their next stop is Delta House. They affirm that it is the Delta House and invites them in party. They find rock and roll music loudly as opposed to the soft piano music at the Omega House. Delta’s members and guests are drinking, gambling, and liberal activities. Kroger and Dorfman are accepted into the Delta fraternity. Kroger is given the Delta Name of Pinto and Dorfman is given the name of Flounder. Omega member’s Neidermeyer who is a strong dislike for Dorfman and Delta. The sinister Omega is going forward with a plan to get the Deltas thrown out of school with president. Since they know they're going to get thrown out of college. They decide to have a toga party. They started to move for revenging. Finally they did revenge them at toga party. And then they run away.

2. Relation to Case Study

In the case study from unit 3 and in this movie, the movie shows the American college life. We see that communication is important between student and student. Chapter 3’s character Maria feels mortified because American college life is different from her country. Maria’s roommate is liberal like delta. We can see commonly this situation in U.S. But Maria is very strange yet.

3. Reaction to film

The Animal House shows me positive part of college life. It was more free and fun. However, It was little rude. It was hard to understand for me, because I have not experienced before and movie was made in about 30 years ago. Therefore, I thought when we study in another country; we might be in trouble like chapter 3’s character Maria. It is inescapable situation, so I think we should adjust in America college life. We should cope with wisely.
