Chapter 1 - Motivation - Case Study Report

I. Statement of the problem
A: Definition
- She trouble with the English class
- She and her teacher misinterpret each other

B: Analysis
- Her English is not at a high enough level
- Sometimes she doesn’t understand what other people are saying
- Lack of participation, almost never ask any question
- She frustrate about her grade

II. Suggestion of possible solutions

A: Her teacher encourage to her about her problem
B: She should ask to teacher after the class everyday
C: She has to study English about writing and listening. So that she improve her grade

III. Evaluation of possible Solution

A: adv: She will has confidence
dis: She doesn’t improve study skills
B: adv: She feels more comfortable
dis: Maybe she is lack of an independent spirit
C: adv: She gets a high grade
dis: She is going to do hard.

IV. Selection of a solution
“C” She has to study English about writing and listening. So that she improve her grade.

-Justification

Feeling more comfortable and taking confidence is important. But studying hard is the most important. It is the most necessary to her. So that she gets a high grade and improve skills. She endure the affliction
